She is a series of photographs revolving around the complete, objective capturing or 'mapping' of one single person. I photographed every piece of skin, every wrinkle, freckle, and birthmark she owns, creating a photographic 'portrait' of her body. The result is a big installation containing of hundreds of images, both printed small and laid out in a big grid, printed big, using paper, transparent plastics, beamed on the wall in quick succession — as well as a publication containing the complete series of photographs.

This work aims for trying to be as objective and non-judgmental as possible, presenting the surface of the skin simply as it is.
